The Inversus annual convention brings together leading figures from the world of economics and finance in Murcia.
The professional meeting took place at El Portón de la Condesa, in La Alcayna, and began with a welcome speech by the CEO of Inversus, José Manuel Fernández Madrid, and the COO of the business group, José J. Vicente, followed by a round table discussion entitled ‘Investment and financing trends. Alternative investments as a resource for the future’. This round table was notable for bringing together some of Spain’s leading figures in the field of financing and investment, such as Gonzalo Bernardos Domínguez, professor in the Department of Economic Theory at the University of Barcelona; the founder and CEO of Acció Preventiva, Xavier Pladevall; the former CEO of El Corte Inglés and president of WOW Concept and Kapita, Dimas Gimeno; Luis Alberto Marín, economist and lawyer; the managing partner of Retalent, Luis Lara Arias; the CEO of Finanzas Conscientes, Elizabeth Wakefield; and former footballer and partner at PH Sports, Julio Álvarez.
Panel discussion
The debate was moderated by journalist and presenter Marienca Fernández.
Among the topics analysed were the evolution of the financial market in recent years, changes in investor profiles and in the demand for capital from companies and start-ups, the democratisation of access to investment, ESG criteria in funds, impact investing, green finance and sustainable bonds, traditional investment and new alternatives, the digitalisation of investment and tokenisation, crowdfunding and crowdlending, artificial intelligence in decision-making, and more.
The debate unfolded smoothly and dynamically, thanks to the diversity of viewpoints and the active involvement of all the speakers, who contributed their experience and analysis on each of the topics discussed. The various presentations allowed for an in-depth examination of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, generating valuable insights. This exchange was reinforced by a question and answer session in which attendees participated very actively, raising concerns, sharing experiences and establishing a direct and enriching dialogue with the speakers.
Getting together, learning… and eating
A space designed for sharing, learning and enjoying. Speakers, management, employees, agents and guests came together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where good food accompanied the exchange of ideas, experiences and training in an enjoyable and entertaining way.
Beyond the presentations, the cuisine became a natural meeting point for strengthening relationships, generating spontaneous conversations and reinforcing team spirit. A relaxed environment that encouraged networking, collaboration and shared learning among all attendees.

Jorge Luengo’s performance was a true showcase of magic, energy and fun that captured the attention of everyone in attendance from the very beginning. His charisma and personality made each trick not only surprising, but also relatable and exciting, creating an atmosphere full of emotion and amazement. The audience was constantly involved, actively participating and becoming an essential part of the show, which further enhanced the connection and shared experience. Employee of the Year Award
Josefina Fernández receives this recognition for reflecting, through her professional growth, the development of INVERSUS. This year, she has taken on a new challenge by being promoted to Deputy Managing Director, demonstrating an admirable combination of responsibility, leadership and commitment.

The convention closed with a lively closing party where attendees could relax and celebrate the event’s successes together. The Murcia-based band Los Brahlis provided live music, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Amid laughter, dancing and fun, speakers, employees, agents and guests shared a relaxed experience that brought the convention to a close in a joyful and cheerful mood, strengthening the bonds created throughout the event.
