The reality is that home purchases by foreigners in Spain have grown significantly in the last decade and have continued even in low market times. If we refer to the numbers from the College of Registrars, 13.75% of the purchases made in 2022 involved buyers from another country and, of all of those, about 10% made a purchase relevant enough to obtain the Golden Visa.
